Never share your Oakton password! Scammers want your Oakton username and password to use in email scams.
Users who have not changed their password in a long time may experience problems logging in to student email. If you experience problems, please use Oakton Account Management to change your Oakton password, or contact the Oakton Help Desk at 847-635-1965 for further assistance.
Student email accounts are not automatically active. You will need to activate your account before you can log in.
Only those currently enrolled in credit course(s), and/or non-credit course(s) offered with computer access, may activate email.
To activate your account, log in to the myOakton Portal and click on the "E-MAIL" link in the upper right-hand corner of your Portal home page.
